The Kate Goldstein Fund Scholarships for Emerging Professionals

Are you an EP? Have you been working in the sustainable building field or a related industry for fewer than five years? NESEA is currently accepting applications for Kate Goldstein Fund Scholarships.

In 2014, NESEA established the Kate Goldstein Fund for Emerging Professionals in Sustainable Energy to honor Kate Goldstein’s legacy of leadership, innovation, and ingenuity.

Kate Goldstein passed away in India at the age of 28 in 2014.  Kate was a PhD student at the MIT Building Technology department and a NESEA board and lifetime member.  Kate was a brilliant, inspiring, and caring individual, who served as an example of how NESEA want the organization to support emerging professionals.

Recipients of the fall scholarship will receive full-funding to attend BuildingEnergy NYC, which will be held on November 3, 2016.   You can find the application here. The application deadline is September 23, 2016. Please email fmacgregor@nesea.org with questions.
